Gunny Watch Bands are the result of a collaboration between MiLTAT and Peter Gunny, the craftsman behind Gunny Straps. Each strap is made by hand using small manual tools, following a process that favors control, patience, and individuality over speed.
Gunny Straps began in 2008 as a small home-based operation. Over time, it became a go-to name for collectors who see a watch strap as more than a replacement part. These straps are often chosen as finishing pieces for watches that already have a story.

Every strap is made by hand with simple tools. This means no two straps are exactly the same. Small variations in stitching, edges, and leather grain are part of the final result.
Gunny straps often highlight natural marks, grain, and aging potential of the leather. These details become more noticeable over time as the strap breaks in.
These straps are commonly paired with vintage watches, military pieces, or modern watches that need a stronger visual presence on the wrist.
Gunny watch bands usually start firmer than mass-produced straps. With wear, the leather softens and shapes to the wrist. The strap develops creases and darkening in places that reflect how it’s worn.
They’re best treated as everyday leather items. Avoid heavy moisture, wipe them after use, and allow rest time between wears if possible.
